The 41st Annual Maine Fishermen’s Forum will be held on March 3rd, 4th, and 5th at the Samoset Resort.
Captain Keith Colburn from the series “Deadliest Catch” will be participating in the Thursday Forum seminar “Questioning our Changing Oceans,” and plans to be in attendance for the entire 3 day event.
The Maine Fishermen’s Forum is the largest event of its kind in New England. The event offers fishermen, clammers, lobstermen, aquaculturalists and other related seafood industry participants an opportunity to meet on neutral ground with fisheries managers, state representatives, Congressmen and Senators.
The forum includes more than 30 seminars on different subjects related to the fishing industry, gear regulations etc.
In addition, there are family programs, a Trade Show, a Seafood Reception highlighting Maine’s seafood, a Banquet/Dance on the last night, as well as a benefit auction to raise money for kids from seafood families.
There is no cost to attend the seminars, tradeshow, or auction.
