New Bedford, America’s largest commercial fishing port, hosts the 6th Working Waterfront Festival, a celebration of commercial fishing culture.

If you are interested in volunteering at this year’s event, please contact our volunteer coordinator Laura Campbell at volunteer@workingwaterfrontfestival.org or call the festival office at 508-993-8894.

Volunteers are needed to help with set up, break down, staffing info booths, selling t-shirts, assisting performers, logging recordings, trash and recycling and much more!

Volunteer opportunities are available from Friday September 25th through Monday September 28th. Volunteers are asked to work a four hour shift in exchange for a festival t-shirt and beverage.
