Are you looking for only photographs taken by members, or pictures that can be put up on the site here? I might have a whole bunch of image and picture files kicking around that could be useful to you... would you want those, or just original new ones?

Thanks for inquiring about this!.

I need non-copyrighted images that show commercial boats, fish, seafood, aquaculture or any aspect of the daily operations of the industries.

These can be amateur photos that you or a friend took or photos you obtained and have express permission to share.

Examples of images that are not acceptable are any images have been downloaded from established websites. Most images you see on the web have copyrights in effect, including the images you find on all of our websites.

Hi,

I have loads of pictures of fishing boats, fishing, etc etc that i have taken over the years, both fishing here in the uk, ireland and on the east and west coasts of australia.

What are you planning to do with the images when you have them?

Sharpshooter.

Most are for the gallery, although we may use one or 2 in clothing designs. If you decide to share any with the readers, you can submit favorites to the gallery if you like or just email them to me. We try to get them approved and live within a day or so.

The commercial boat gallery is here: http://www.commercial-fishing.org/gallery/p17_sectionid/2

All galleries are here: http://www.commercial-fishing.org/gallery/p17_sectionid/1

This is great.

I will have them all live and processed within a day or so. They can be seen in the gallery as I get them done: http://www.commercial-fishing.org/gallery

I can probably deliver as I live right here in an area with lots of fishing industry (not as much as used to, but still!) and husband crabs here out of Oregon/Washington as well as longlines and may even go back and make a few trawl trips.

I'll sort through and submit them!

Thanks for anything you can send us Liz. There is a lot interest in pictures of commercial fishing and I think it can be a positive thing for the industry.

Yes, we usually add pics by region or gear type.

You can just email them to me or submit them directly here:

We would be thrilled to receive anything you can share.
