NOAA Fisheries is proposing measures for the Northeast Skate fishery which would, among other things, reduce possession limits for skate wing fishery, increase incidental possession limit trigger for the skate wing fishery and allow vessels that process skate wings at sea to land skate carcasses for sale into the bait market.
Public comments on the proposed measures must be received no later than 5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on April 19, 2011.
