At Nor-Fishing 2010, various events will cover a number of subjects, from all-day conferences to short workshops and seminars on a number of subjects.

Among the events that have already been announced, the following are updates:

10:30 – 12:00    The future for the fisheries industry – catches and market.
Panel discussion with former ministers of fisheries Bjarne Mørk Eidem, Peter Angelsen og Svein Ludvigsen and former directors of fisheries Knut Vartdal and Peter Gullestad. Moderator: Thorvald Tande jr, Editor of  “Norsk Fiskerinæring”.

09:00 – 15:00    The Institute of Marine Research and the South Norway Trawler’s  Association seminar on sandeel.
Venue: On board Research Vessel ”G.O. Sars”, at Skansen

10:00 – 13:00    Market opportunities for Norwegian seafood.
Innovation Norway invites to a meeting about market opportunities,  followed by a seafood buffet lunch.

11:00 – 14:00    Norway – the world’s leading seafood nation.
Minister of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs Mrs. Lisbeth Berg-Hansen invites to a workshop.
