Wet and Hungry

An Atlantic Fisherman’s Life

By B. R. Lynch

Paperback-350 pages-42 illustrations-$18.95

book available from: the author, www.writewordsinc.com, www.authorsbookshop.com, and www.amazon.com

Wet and Hungry tells the true story of a Mid-Atlantic Coast commercial fisherman, revealing the hardship and excitement of a fisherman’s life.

Wet and Hungry details government persecution of this dying profession in the hope of enlightening the public to the outrageous treatment of the workers who provide our seafood. The book spares the reader sea sickness, grueling labor and fuel bills, but not tragedy, humor and entertainment for adults of both sexes. Readers report they glance through it with no intention of reading it and the next thing they know, it’s four in the morning.

Wet and Hungry has received several five star reviews on Amazon. One reviewer writes "Wow! If you thought that courage, adventure, and morality were missing from contemporary American life, you should read this book. You will be entertained, amused, and enlightened."

The book was also featured in the February 2009 National Fisherman, where it recieved a positive review.

The author, Beverly Rae Lynch also creates paintings, prints, slide shows and other nautical art.
